Book a Tour of the Ralph L. Carr Judicial Center

Scheduling a guided tour is a great way for your group or organization to visit the Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center and the Colorado Judicial Learning Center. Guided tours may include a visit to one or more of the courtrooms (as available), discussion about the Colorado court system and the Colorado Judicial Branch, a tour of the Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center and its public art, a visit to the Colorado Supreme Court Library, and time in the Colorado Judicial Learning Center.

The Colorado Judicial Learning Center is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm court holidays excluded.

There will be a standing tour at 3pm every day the Learning Center is open. There are no self-guided tours.

What you need to know:

  • Guided tours are available for non-commercial groups of up to 80 people. Larger groups may be accommodated on a case by case basis. No group is too small. Reservations are required. 
  • Guided tours are provided free of charge. There is never a charge to visit the Learning Center or the Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center.
  • Guided tours last 1 hour. Shorter or longer tours are available upon request.
  • Schools or other groups of children must have at least 1 adult chaperon per 12 students.
  • Weapons are not allowed in the Ralph L. Carr Judicial Building. This includes pocket knives, clippers, and mace. Visitors are required to be screened through security to be admitted to the building.
  • Tours begin at the front door of the Courthouse, facing 14th Avenue.
