Judicially Speaking is a nonpartisan, public education program designed to inform students about the role of the judiciary in the American legal system. Judicially Speaking is comprised of the judicial officers of the Colorado State Judiciary. Judges Theresa Cisneros, David Prince, and David Shakes of Colorado Springs founded Judicially speaking and have provided the early leadership, time, and personal resources to Judicially Speaking. Judges from Colorado's trial courts up to the state supreme court have expanded the program to communities across the state, from Grand Junction to the Front Range as well as the San Luis Valley.
